How to save the deliciousness of bean sprouts!

"Sprouts" are surprisingly fragile and quickly become irritated. You can keep the crispy feeling for a little longer just by refrigerating with a little effort. If you don't use it for a while, you can freeze it!

Bean sprouts are cheap and delicious, so you'll want to buy them in bulk. Even if you put the whole bag in the refrigerator, it may be damaged if you notice it because it doesn't last for a long time. That's a waste! So, I will introduce a preservation method that keeps the crispy texture without the bean sprouts getting sick immediately!

■ How to save bean sprouts

・ Refrigerate
First, take out the bean sprouts from the bag without putting them together in the bag.



Put the bean sprouts in a storage container such as a tapper, and add enough water to fill it.


Cover and go to the refrigerator. Try to change the water once every two days. With this alone, you can keep the crispness of the bean sprouts a little longer.


・ Frozen storage
If you don't use it for a while, freeze it. Estimated storage period is 2 to 3 weeks.

First, remove the bean sprouts from the bag and wash them under running water. You can freeze the whole bag you bought, but we recommend that you wash it once if possible.


After draining the water, put it in a zippered bag to bleed the air inside and close the mouth. Go to the freezer as it is.


When using it, lightly loosen it from the top of the bag and take out as much as you want. It's a little less crispy than raw, but it's recommended for miso soup, soup, and stir-fry because it can be stored frozen to improve the taste.

Bean sprouts that are fresh and stuffy. It's useful not only for everyday dining, but also for adding bulk to the food you're on a diet. Save it properly and enjoy it without damaging it!
