Tofu Gateau Chocolate

dark chocolate 85g (3oz)
cocoa powder 10g (0.35oz)

Ingredients

What to prepare. The recipe is based on the one from Mitsui Sugar Co.

1/2 silken tofu
85g (3oz) dark chocolate
10g (0.35oz) cocoa powder
2 eggs
50g (1.76oz) sugar

You can decorate with whipped cream or fruit if you like.

Directions

Chop the chocolate into small pieces and melt over hot water.


In a bowl, combine silken tofu, egg and sugar. Once the tofu is smooth, it is ready to serve.



Add the chocolate mixture and sift in the cocoa powder. Mix all together well.




Pour the dough into a cocotte dish or something similar (up to about 8 minutes) and bake in a 160 degree oven for 40 minutes! Since there is no flour in it, it won't puff up that big, but it will be moderately fluffy.
