I have challenged Kourakuen's limited-time menu "Geki Spicy Tsukemen". The hot soup, the cold noodles, and the chicken cutlet on the side were a perfect match.

The price is 640 yen (tax included), and it will be available until June 17th. The limited menu of Kourakuen these days is mercilessly spicy, so be prepared to order.


We arrived at three dishes: a bright red soup, noodles with colorful toppings, and chicken cutlet fried in a dark brown color. Immediately pick up the noodles, soak them in the soup and bring them to your mouth.




Mainly peppers, but also has a perfect taste of Sichuan-style mapo tofu. When you touch your tongue, it's spicy, and later, like a body blow, another spiciness comes into play. However, it is not so much that tears come out, and it is enough to keep moving the chopsticks. There seems to be a slight acidity of vinegar.

Although it is tsukemen, the thickness of the noodles should be the same as that of ordinary Kourakuen ramen. It's slippery and smooth and easy to squeeze. Naruto, green vegetables, and menma toppings can be added to the soup and put in your mouth with the noodles for an accent.


I also decided to soak the chicken katsu in the soup. If you dip it in a bowl with the attached crispy shredded green onions and then pull it up, the batter will be slightly reddish.


When I grab it, I can think of the chili flavor of "chicken nuggets" that can be bought at fast food and convenience stores, because the meat and meat have a firm texture and the tangy taste is added.

It has a junk taste, but the combination of cool noodles and hot spicy soup is well-balanced, so it's perfect for hot days but when you want to eat spicy food. It was a new product that I would like you to handle until the height of summer in July and August.
