Sushi Dining "Tsumamigui Nakameguro", the first restaurant under the new business model of conveyor-belt sushi chain Sushiro, will open in Nakameguro, Tokyo, on January 29, 2012. Based on the concept of "Smart Sushi Dining," the restaurant will offer bite-sized sushi rolls and other specialties that can be eaten like "snacks" at reasonable prices.

Sushiro "Tsumamigui," a restaurant that does not rotate, is now open in Nakameguro!

I love Sushiro! I went into the restaurant ahead of others to check out the atmosphere and menu... I seriously recommend this restaurant to women without any complim ents! I'll tell you why I'll definitely be repeating my visit, along with a few pictures of the sizzling atmosphere!

Stylish and casual atmosphere where you can casually come in even if you are a woman alone!

Tsumamigui Nakameguro is designed in such a way that women can stop by easily and comfortably by themselves, so that they can see inside the restaurant from the outside. Also, smoking is prohibited at both lunch and dinner hours.

The interior, tables, and chairs are simple and sophisticated in design. The restaurant was designed by nendo, a design company with internationally acclaimed designers.

Furthermore, each table is equipped with a tablet terminal, a system that allows customers to order what they want, when they want it, using a touch panel. There is no need to raise your hand or call the waiter in a loud voice, which is great for single customers.

Even I, a shy person, can't afford to be shy when ordering.

Also, be sure to check out the "appetizer tsumami-gui," an idea unique to the conveyor-belt sushi chain! A special "Tsumamigui counter" is set up inside the restaurant, where a total of nine types of appetizers (depending on the season), such as "Hokkaido salmon roe with grated radish" and "Scallops and tomato marinade," are lined up.

These are not ordered from the touch panel, but you are free to take whatever you like from the counter. All prices are 300 yen per plate.

After greedily trying all kinds, the one that the author liked best was the "Cream Cheese and Sake Stealer. It contains only what sake-drinking girls love: salted fish, cream cheese, and avocado.

Another item that was hard to put down was the "Hokkaido Fresh Sea Urchin and Fresh Yuba. The marriage of the rich sea urchin and the chunky raw yuba is irresistible!

Healthy" vegetables are also available!

The restaurant's menu features a wide variety of dishes made with the finest ingredients and flavors. Since the restaurant is affiliated with Sushiro, sushi is of course the signature menu item, but the key point is that at Tsumamigui you can also get your fill of vegetables.

Take, for example, the "Gorokuraku Vegetable Salad" (780 yen for two or three servings). The salad is made with seasonal vegetables such as mizuna, broccoli, tomatoes, and turnips grown on a farm that is dedicated to producing high quality vegetables, and the sweetness of the vegetables themselves can be felt so well that it is delicious without dressing.

Just when you think you can't get enough veggies, here you go!

The salad itself is so sweet and tasty that it does not need any dressing. The brightly colored dish is also very satisfying to the eye.

In addition, a "pakuchi salad" (480 yen for two to three servings) is also available, a must for pakuchi lovers!

Sushi, meat, and sweets are all delicious!

Now that you've eaten your fill of vegetables and filled your stomach halfway... it's time to get down to the main course, sushi! The menu includes colorful "bite-sized sushi rolls" (from 100 yen for two pieces per plate), which are sure to be popular even among foreign customers, and "sushi a la carte" that can be ordered from 100 yen per piece.

The author's top recommendation is the " 3 Kinds of Japanese Raw Tuna" (850 yen) from the "3 Kinds of Sushi Moriawase," an assortment of Tsumamigui's signature sushi. The sweetness of the melt-in-your-mouth fatty flesh, the smooth texture, and the not-too-persistent aftertaste... so good you could eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

I thought my cheeks would fall off!

What's more, this "3 Kinds of Japanese Fresh Tuna" will be on sale from January 29 to February 28 at a special price of 680 yen instead of the usual 850 yen to commemorate the opening. Too cheap!

Tuna lovers absolutely, positively, must try it!

-- and it is a given that the sushi is delicious. What impressed this writer is that the meat menu and desserts are also seriously delicious!

The a la carte meat dishes, such as "Lightly Salted Beef Tongue and Awaji Onions" (880 yen) and "Japanese Roast Black Wagyu Beef and Deep Fried Avocado" (1,050 yen), are as high quality as their names suggest!

In addition to cold sushi, the menu also offers hot fried dishes, chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), and miso soup, which is great in winter.

In addition, the dessert menu features a total of seven sweet selections. I was honestly surprised by the "apple and walnut raw chocolate tart with vanilla ice cream" (480 yen), which was so authentically delicious that it awakened my second stomach, no matter how full I was. Although this is a sushi dining room, I wouldn't mind going back just to eat this.

The drink menu offers a wide variety of alcoholic beverages that go well with sushi, including beer, wine, sours, shochu, and sake. This is the perfect place for those days after work when you just want to enjoy a delicious drink.

In this way, Tsumamigui is " stylish, healthy, and delicious," which is why we highly recommend it to women (and men, of course!). The price is also very reasonable. And with prices that are easy on the wallet, there is no reason not to go!
