At each Mos Burger store, the new product "Barbecue Mos Burger Vegetable and Fruit Special Sauce" (390 yen including tax, same below) and the popular "Rich Mos Burger Gorgon Zora Cheese Sauce" (440 yen) released in 2014 are on July 12th. It will be released on the same day (excluding some stores). Both are summer-only menus until early September. On a hot day when I felt the arrival of summer, I had a chance to sample it.

BBQ Mos Burger

This menu was developed with the theme of "What if the meat sauce of the signboard menu" Mos Burger "has a barbecue taste?" Chopped onion, barbecue sauce, and sliced tomatoes are layered on a patty coated with American mustard and mayonnaise.


When you bring your face closer, you will find a spicy summery scent. With the added smoky scent of hickory, it is more fragrant and appetizing than regular barbecue sauces.

The barbecue sauce is more fruity than you can imagine. The sauce is based on tomatoes, with 6 kinds of vegetables such as garlic and celery, and 4 kinds of fruits such as mango and dates. The mellow sweetness of vegetables and fruits is followed by the spicy spices, which makes you want to bring it to your mouth more and more. Since the flavor of soy sauce is added to the secret flavor, the rich flavor that matches the taste of Japanese people spreads throughout the mouth, not the American rich flavor.


Needless to say, the spicy sweet sauce and juicy patties go great together. Fresh tomatoes and onions give a refreshing taste to the whole. It has a fruity and mellow taste, so it is recommended for women and small children who do not usually like something that is too tight.

Rich moss cheese burger

This is a popular product that has been on sale for a limited time every summer since 2014. Gorgonzola cheese sauce is added to "Moss Cheese Burger".


The thick sauce is rich and the flavor peculiar to Gorgonzola cheese is addictive. Accented with black pepper and white wine vinegar, it's rich but doesn't feel dull at all. A "mellow cheese combination" of sliced cheese and cheese sauce is an adult hamburger that enhances the taste of meat sauce.

Regional drinks

From the same day, "Hyuganatsu Soda from Kyushu for Hyuganatsu" will be on sale only in the Hokkaido, Kyushu, and Okinawa areas. This is an original drink that combines Hyuganatsu syrup with the carbonated drink "7UP". You can feel the refreshing acidity like yuzu, and it goes well with barbecue mos burger and rich moss cheese burger. It will be on sale until mid-September, and the price starts from 250 yen for S size.
