At each Lawson store in Hokkaido, a new product "Tsuboya Cristo Maron Donuts" supervised by the long-established confectionery store "Tsuboya Sohonten" in Asahikawa City was released on May 24th. The price is 90 yen (tax included).


"Tsuboya crispy marron donut" is a donut wrapped in chestnut bean paste with a crispy and unique texture. It is said that it will be eaten with the attached "plain sugar".

The Tsuboya Sohonten, which supervised this product, is a long-established store that opened in 1945. The signature product "Kihana" has won the Monde Selection for 26 consecutive years, and in 2011 it was specially certified as "the most award in Japan". This is the first time that the store's products have been sold at convenience stores.
