Wasedon

"Wasedon" is a dish topped with red and white ingredients that add color to the New Year's festivities. Kakiage, a combination of "shiroebi" (white shrimp), said to be the jewel of Toyama, and "sheri" (Japanese parsley), one of the seven herbs of spring, are used to express the early spring season.

In addition, "Hamo" from Oita Prefecture and "Kishu Nanko Ume" (Japanese plum) are combined to recreate the perfect combination that complements the flavor of the hamo in the tempura bowl. The bowl is also topped with "beni shin daikon" (red radish), which has a fresh texture and sweet taste, and "Ariake-grown Hatsumitsume Kaike" (dried sea moss), which has a strong flavor. Served with miso soup.

New Year's Eve Tempura is a special product that has been sold at Tendon Tenya for about 30 years as an offering for the table on New Year's Eve to close out the year. The number of reservations varies from store to store and will be closed when the maximum number is reached. Some stores do not accept reservations.

Kotobuki is a New Year's Eve family pack that includes the popular shrimp, the year-end sea bream, Tenya's first rice cake wrapper, two servings each of squid, scallop, lotus root, and eggplant, and a two-serving pack of Jindaiji fresh soba.

Soba-tsuyu (buckwheat sauce) is not included. The price is 2,000 yen.

Maku-no-uchi Tendon


Gold prize in a menu contest designed by Tenya's store staff; on sale October 1-10. Based on the concept that autumn is the season for excursions, we have gathered ingredients inspired by Maku-no-uchi bento. In addition to the standard Maku-no-uchi bento ingredients such as shrimp, salmon, toriten (chicken tempura), and tamago-yaki (fried egg), the dish is also topped with kani-kama and broccoli for a visually pleasing dish.

Hometown Aji Tendon


This dish won the silver prize in a menu contest invented by Tenya's restaurant staff and will be on sale from October 11 to 20. The dish is inspired by the "Imoni" and "Hittari Udon" of Yamagata Prefecture, the hometown of the staff who invented it, and is topped with ingredients related to Yamagata Prefecture. The salty taste of Yamagata Prefecture's omizuke (pickles) and yam served on top of the bowl make it a refreshing and light meal.

Bronze prize winner in a menu contest created by Tenya's restaurant staff; on sale from October 21 to 30. The concept is "Tendon with the nostalgia of the meals we used to eat at the table! The dish is served with hanpen, mozzarella cheese, and tsukune (chicken bones) in a sweet and spicy sauce, and a half-boiled egg to evoke the image of moon viewing. Enjoy the feeling of autumn moon viewing at Tenya.

Tempura soaked in the sauce goes perfectly with a half-boiled egg.

"Chicken Aigetemi Tendon" is a hearty dish developed by students of the School of Business Administration at Sanno University and brushed up by Tendon Tenya based on the concept of "rewarding yourself for your hard work every day. The crispy aroma of sakura shrimps whets the appetite, while the tender meat of the chicken is topped with chicken tempura, rich mozzarella cheese tempura, and nori tempura, all topped with a thick, half-boiled egg.

The accompanying small bowl of boiled spinach and mushrooms has a refreshing taste and is a perfect palate freshener.


The price is 980 yen. A single item menu without a small bowl of rice, "Chicken Aizu Eating Tendon (single item)," is also available. The price is 890 yen.

The menu will be available only for 28 days from July 4 to July 31. To go and delivery are not available.
