Matsuya Ume Dashi Sanshoku-don Ume Dashi Una-don

Matsuya will offer "Ume Dashi Sanshoku-don" and "Matsuya Ume Dashi Una-don" on July 11, starting at 10:00 a.m. The new bowls will be available for purchase at Matsuya's restaurants.

The new refreshing rice bowls will blow away the summer heat and humidity. The new "ume dashi" is made with a double combination of tapped ume plums and ume chips, combined with daikon radish and cucumber, and has a distinctive flavor and texture. The "Ume Dashi Sanshoku-don," a bowl of rice topped with ume dashi, yam, and beef rice meat, features a "sweet and sour" taste that is rare in Matsuya's rice bowls, with a refreshing aroma and just the right amount of acidity.

Matsuya's Ume Dashi Eel Bowl" is also available together with Matsuya's unagi (eel), which is now on sale for the day of the ox in Doyou. The ume dashi is also available as a stand-alone item, which can be enjoyed with other dishes or as a side dish to go.
