Mos Burger "Gochiso Chili Burger"

July 27th. I was walking around aimlessly, thinking that it would be a hassle to cook dinner, when I realized that today was Friday, so I stopped by Mos Burger! I was looking for the "Gochiso Chili Burger," a menu item that will be available only on Fridays (Mos Friday) starting on the same day. I thought some of you might be curious about it.


The Gochiso Chili Burger has a spicy finish with hot chili sauce. There is also a "Spicy Gochiso Chili Burger" with added jalapenos and a "2 Spicy Spicy Gochiso Chili Burger" with double the amount of jalapenos. This time, without hesitation, I told them I wanted the spiciest one (i.e., 2 Spicy Spicy).

The burger comes with a patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, sautéed onions, and a generous layer of sliced jalapenos, softly sandwiched in a bun. It is seasoned with a hot chili sauce made with beans and ground beef, and a Japanese sauce with mustard.

...I've always thought that Mos burgers look really beautiful, don't they?


The juices from the juicy patty flood your mouth as you bite into the fluffy bun. The crisp lettuce, sweet and juicy tomatoes, and creamy cheese are all combined with a rich sauce.

The second bite. Finally, the jalapenos arrive. The crunchy texture is immediately followed by the spiciness! It makes your nose run and your tongue tingle a little, but it's bearable...and if you like spicy food, you'll be happy to eat it! The hamburger itself is delicious to begin with, and the spiciness is mellowed by the thick tomatoes, melted cheese, and rich sauce.



After eating it, I realized that this spiciness definitely goes well with beer. If you're at one of our Mosbar locations, by all means enjoy it with a beer! The next date of sale is, of course, Friday (until mid-January 2019).
