The new chocolate product "Meiji Chocolate Effect Prune" has been released in advance at Lawson from December 13th. The price is 168 yen (tax included).

This is a prune wrapped in 72% cacao chocolate. Inside the spherical chocolate, there is a prune cut into a cube shape. The combination of dried fruits and chocolate is a classic, but prunes may be a little unusual.


The chocolate on the outside is bittersweet and has a smooth mouthfeel. Entangled with the juicy prunes on the inside, it creates a rich taste. Prunes with strong sweetness and low acidity and bitter chocolate go well together.


It comes in a pouch-type bag that is easy to pick up and can be sealed, making it convenient for carrying around as a snack. The release date at stores other than Lawson is undecided (as of December 13), so if you are interested, please purchase at Lawson.
