Paprika (red and yellow) 1 each
tube-shaped fish-paste cake six (long cylindrical things)
soy sauce 1 tablespoon
sugar 2 teaspoons
white sesame seeds 1 tablespoon
sesame oil 2 teaspoons

Paprika and Chikuwa Kinpira

Ingredients

1 each of red and yellow bell pepper
6 pieces of chikuwa
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 teaspoons sugar
1 tablespoon white sesame seeds
2 teaspoons sesame oil

Preparation

1. Wash bell peppers, cut in half lengthwise, and remove stems and seeds. Slice lengthwise into thin strips about 3 mm wide.


Cut chikuwa into diagonal slices about 3 mm wide.


Put sesame oil in a frying pan and saute bell peppers over medium heat.


When the bell peppers have softened slightly, add the chikuwa and stir-fry for 1 minute.


Add soy sauce, sugar, and white sesame seeds.
