[Tasting] Ippudo's black ramen "Noodles in Black" -Black pepper and garlic

Black to the bowl

I ate Ippudo's limited-time ramen "Noodles in Black". The taste of tonkotsu soup with black pepper and garlic is fresh. It is a collaboration menu with the movie "Men in Black: International".

The price is 890 yen (excluding tax). According to the explanation of the menu, the surface of the soup is dyed black with a special perfume oil using charred garlic, and black with plenty of black pepper is the keynote.

Blacken the surface of the white tonkotsu soup with perfume oil using charred garlic

When I ordered, the shop staff told the kitchen that it was "Kuromaru". It seems to be called after "white circle" and "red circle" in Ippudo's standard menu.

I arrived at the black soup in a black bowl. The black fungus topping is also eye-catching. In addition, one point of bright red spicy miso stands out.

Garlic is good but not too strong. Black pepper is brilliant

First of all, when you scoop up the soup and drink it, the garlic is really good. However, it is not that it is strong enough to be overwhelmed, but it is just a fragrance that enhances the taste of tonkotsu. I'm wondering if it's okay to have lunch on weekdays, but it's not bad for dinner or holiday meals.

On the other hand, the smell of black pepper is quite assertive. Every time I bring it to my mouth with a ranger, it smells sharp and has a tingling sensation on my tongue. Recently, when I ordered spicy noodle dishes, I often saw peppers and peppers that were strongly seasoned, so I forgot, but I remember that black pepper is also spicy. And it goes very well with ramen. Melting crimson spicy miso here makes the taste even more complicated and interesting.

The whiteness of the noodles is dazzling

By the way, the noodles are dazzling white when you lift them from under the soup. It is thin and crispy, and the thick soup is often entwined. There are two toppings of char siu, each with different texture, tongue, and oil paste, which is interesting, and when I check the explanation later, the parts used for pork ribs and ribs are different.

There were two types of char siu, Kata and Rose.

The collaboration partner "Men in Black: International" will be released on June 14th. It seems to be a new series of science fiction movies that I did in the past, starring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. Does this "black circle" produced by Ippudo capture the image well? Anyway, it was delicious.
