Chicken Rice with Chicken)" Marugame Shake Udon " has become a hot topic since its appearance at Marugame Seimen, and recently, products in a cup for easy consumption have become familiar. On July 11, "Cup Gohan (Fried Rice with Chicken)" and "Cup Gohan (Chicken Rice with Chicken)" were released by LAWSON. These are my personal highly recommended products...! (not an advertisement)


It's insanely convenient for eating at home or at work, for picnics and other outdoor lunches, and for road trips! You can eat it with one hand (even while walking if you want), you can close the lid in the middle of the meal, it is compact and inexpensive (300 yen including tax), and I wish I had met you sooner...

I especially recommend the fried rice chicken. Both the fried rice, which is more authentic than expected, and the fried chicken, which also has a homemade feel to it, are delicious and excellent without being too easy. Although the fried chicken is the only side dish, the satisfaction you get is more than enough. 300 yen per piece (including tax) and this level of perfection is quite a high cost performance!


Note that it tastes better warmed up than cold (500W for 1 minute and 15 seconds recommended), so if you buy it and eat it outside as is, it is better to have it heated up at the restaurant.

Cup of Rice

The fried chicken is moist, soft and juicy. The batter and juices of the fried chicken are delicious, and the taste of the batter and juices fill your mouth!



The fried rice was filled with large pieces of fried pork! The fried egg and green onion are also evenly distributed, and the fried rice is more authentic than I expected, including the delicious flavor when you bite into each grain of rice coated with oil, the fragrance of the fried rice, and the many other ingredients.


The only disappointment was that the rice was a little hardened at the bottom, but it was nothing to worry about once you break it up with a spoon. It was very tasty. A definite repeat purchase.

The chicken rice is filled with chicken and green peas in various textures! The sweet and sour ketchup flavor is nicely accented by the sweetness of the sometimes hoppy green peas. The combination is like a children's lunch and is sure to be popular with children, but it also has a special flavor that makes adults happy as well.
