LAWSON "Gotochi Karaage-kun"

LAWSON will release "Gotochi Karaage-kun" for each area in seven areas in Japan on February 14 (Tuesday) (excluding LAWSON STORE100). Each is priced at 238 yen (tax included).

Karaage-kun

Karaage-kun has been LAWSON's signature product since its launch in 1986, selling a total of over 3.9 billion servings (as of the end of December 2022). In addition to the standard "Regular," "Red," "Hokkaido Cheese," and "Setouchi Lemon Flavor," there have been a total of more than 340 flavors (as of the end of December 2022), including local flavors arranged from local ingredients and local menus, and collaborations with anime. All of the new products are newly developed flavors.

KARAAGEKUN KAZUCHI Flavor

is a recreation of "KAZUCHI," a new type of snack born in Hokkaido that combines smoked Sudoko and cheese. The smoked flavor is firstly enjoyed with a hint of cheese in the aftertaste. This is the first time "Kazu Chee" has collaborated with Lawson.

LAWSON "KARAAGEKUN KAZUCHI Flavor

The product will be sold in Hokkaido.

KARAAGE-KUN Garlic Butter Flavor

: Garlic paste from Tatkomachi, Aomori Prefecture, and butter from Zao, Miyagi Prefecture, are used. The flavor of the garlic and the richness of the butter make for an addictive taste.

The product is sold in the Tohoku region (Aomori, Miyagi, Iwate, Akita, Yamagata, and Fukushima prefectures).

Kara-Age-Kun Karakara-Uo Flavor

The product was supervised by "Mendokoro Inosho," a ramen restaurant in Shakujii Koen, Tokyo, which sells the popular instant noodle "

Ramen. The flavor of the special raayu made with niboshi and bonito-based special spicy fish powder has been reproduced. The spiciness of the noodles is very stimulating.

The product is sold in the Kanto region (Tokyo, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Gunma, Saitama, Chiba, Kanagawa, Niigata, Yamanashi, and Nagano prefectures).

KARAAGE-KUN: Tori-Yasai Miso Flavor supervised by Matsuya

uses "Tori-Yasai Miso" from "Matsuya," a local miso in Ishikawa Prefecture. The miso flavor is sure to keep you coming back for more.

The product is sold in the Chubu area (Ishikawa, Toyama, Fukui (excluding some stores), Gifu, Shizuoka, Aichi and Mie prefectures (excluding some stores).

The "Ousho Magic Powder" is a special spice loved for many years by "Gyoza no Ousho," a popular restaurant chain originating in the Kansai region. The flavor has a subtle hint of white pepper.

The product is sold in the Kinki region (including stores in Osaka, Shiga, Kyoto, Hyogo, Nara, Wakayama, and Mie prefectures, as well as some stores in Fukui Prefecture).

KARAAGE-KUN Kodawari Shio-Shi (Salt Flavor)

: The product uses 100% Hakko no Shio (salt) from Hakko Shogyo in Ehime Prefecture to bring out the true flavor of the ingredients. Hakkata salt is also used to flavor the batter.

The product is sold in Chugoku and Shikoku (Ehime, Tottori, Shimane, Okayama, Hiroshima, Yamaguchi, Tokushima, Kagawa, and Kochi prefectures, excluding Shimonoseki City in some areas).

KARAAGE-KUN Umakachan Flavor

This is a representation of "Umakachan," a bagged ramen loved in Kyushu since its release in 1979. This is the first collaboration between "Umakacchan" and a convenience store. Umakacchan is a registered trademark of House Foods Group Inc.
