Kairikiya has introduced a limited-time menu item, "Aburasoba", which will be available at all stores except Okinawa from May 25, 2012. The price is 790 yen for a standard size (including tax, the same below) and 979 yen for a large size. The large size is 979 yen.

Kairikiya Aburasoba

Kairikiya's ramen is popular mainly for its soy sauce broth from Kitashirakawa, Kyoto. The special thick noodles are characterized by their hot and chewy texture, and the thick soy sauce sauce is well mixed with the noodles. The 2022 version also features an improved sauce and seven colorful ingredients for a more visually pleasing presentation.

The 2022 version is accented with fried onions. It is guided that the dish is completed by mashing the egg yolk and stirring the toppings and noodles from the bottom of the bowl firmly.
