Anyone can easily make it delicious, inexpensive and nutritious. At first glance, "rice with eggs" seems invincible, but it is not suitable for carrying around and has the weakness that it can only be eaten at home.

However, the other day (September 22nd), "Egg over rice" appeared on Lawson's rice balls. The egg yolk sauce is wrapped in soy sauce rice, and it seems to be a rice ball that reproduces the rice with eggs. The price is 120 yen (tax included). Now you can eat omelet rice anytime, anywhere ...?

As a fan of tamago kake gohan, I was curious, so I decided to try it.

■ I tried Lawson rice ball "Egg over rice"

Even if you take it out of the bag, it is wrapped in seaweed and you can't tell the difference from other rice balls just by looking at it.

At first glance, it ’s an ordinary rice ball.

When you peel off the seaweed, you can see that the rice is slightly colored with soy sauce. Nori is seasoned seaweed. If you touch it, your hands will be fluffy, so it may be better to leave a bag for the parts that you touch.

When I tried it, the rice with soy sauce was a good match with the seasoned seaweed. At first glance, I couldn't reach the egg yolk sauce, but I can eat it as it is.

The egg yolk sauce that you meet with the lid has a thick texture and a rich soup stock flavor. The taste associated with rice is certainly egg-cooked rice.

However, the sauce used as an ingredient for rice balls is inevitably less than that of the original omelet rice. Even if it is rich and has enough taste, it does not have enough "juice".

It is a part that can not be helped to become a convenient "rice ball" that can be eaten with one hand, but the deliciousness of "egg-kake rice" was also in the place where the texture was "shabashaba". It makes me realize.

However, the taste is omelet rice. It was a dish that you can enjoy a different taste as "rice ball with egg over rice" instead of "egg over rice itself". Is it worth trying if you like rice with eggs?
