pepper. It has spread from the Indian region to the world, attracting many people and supporting our diet. A fascinating spice that was once prized to the point of being as valuable as gold. But alas, it doesn't play a leading role.

Tsukemen "Tsukemen" (1,080 yen including tax), which uses such pepper luxuriously and is set as the "leading role", has been offered at the noodle shop Musashi Iwatora in Akihabara, Tokyo from June 10th.

Black pepper that clings to thick noodles so that the noodles are hidden. It seems that Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and Malaysia are mixed. Beef sits on top of the black noodles, and white onions are on it. It is pink pepper that brightly colors the summit. Of course, you can see pepper in the soup with noodles. In total, a total of 5 types of pepper are used.

First, inhale the scent to your heart's content. The refreshing scent reminiscent of citrus and the spicy scent of pepper hit the brain directly.

Then, eat the noodles without adding anything. There is a stimulus like pepper. However, it is not as pungent as I had imagined from the scent, and it feels as if I am eating the "scent" of pepper as it is.

Next time, I'll add it to the soup. In a word, "the sharp taste becomes mild", but the sweet pork bone soup goes well with the pepper flavor. It should be a thick pork bone, but thanks to pepper, it has a refreshing aftertaste.

Beef and green onions are also supporting characters that complement pepper. Who is the sweet steak on the beef? It's delicious even if you roll the green onions and eat it. However, if you add it to the soup with the noodles, it will be more delicious. In addition, it seems that a separate sauce is laid on the bottom of the bowl containing the noodles, so you can enjoy the change in taste as you continue to eat.

By the time I finished eating and went home, I felt that my body had warmed up from the core. The after-meal feeling, which is a little different from the general spiciness, may be peculiar to pepper. I thought I didn't have to make noodles, but it may not be unique to Tsukemen that you can enjoy various combinations of soup, noodles, and ingredients. At least I've never eaten so much pepper at once. Limited to 20 meals a day, it will be served until early July.

By the way, "Mala powder" and "lime vinegar" are placed on the tabletop of the store. Pepper is very compatible with these. If you're not satisfied with the pepper stimulus alone, add it quickly.
