A gourmet event "U-1 Grand Prix in Tokyo" where "udon" from all over the country gathers will be held in Ariake, Tokyo for 5 days from May 2nd to 6th.


The U-1 Grand Prix is a food event where "Udon restaurants that are proud of their skills" gather from all over the country to decide on the "Comprehensive Grand Prix". It has been held since 2013, and it seems that 200,000 people visited the Tokyo tournament last year (2014) and it was exciting.

In 2015, it will be further "powered up", and not only udon but also various "local gourmet" related to the food culture of udon will appear.

The event will be held at the East Promenade Ishi to Hikari no Plaza, 3-7 Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo. The holding time is from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm (until 6:00 pm on the last day). Entrance is free of charge.
