Introducing a new kind of hybrid sweets that have appeared overseas again. "Criss-Croissants " developed by the restaurant chain IHOP from the United States.

It's like a waffle ... a croissant?

Chris croissant is a waffle-shaped baked croissant dough. A hybrid dessert that has both a croissant-like "layer" and a waffle surface "crater" that can only be eaten here.

If you look closely at the dough, it is properly layered!

There are two flavors, "Strawberry Rhubarb" and "Blackberry Lemonade". Strawberry rhubarb is made by wrapping cream in half-folded dough and topped with strawberries and rhubarb. Blackberry lemonade, on the other hand, is finished with a dough sandwiched with lemonade cream and topped with blackberries.

When you eat it, the 36 layers of freshly baked croissant dough melt in your mouth, spreading the taste of smooth cream and juicy fruit.

When Chris Croissant was announced on IHOP's official Facebook page, fans commented with excitement such as "It looks the best" and "I want to eat it now!" Many people living in countries and regions that do not have IHOP stores, such as "I don't have one," "Please, bring me to London!" !).

I think the taste and texture of the dough itself is probably a croissant, but by adding bumps to the surface and adding cream or fruit, you can enjoy a different and luxurious taste.
