McDonald's changes about 70 package designs including To go bags

McDonald's has changed the package designs of about

70 items, including To go bags, burger wraps, boxes, and cold drink cups, at McDonald's restaurants. The new designs will be available from mid-October.

The

new designs feature "pop and colorful" colors that are linked to the McDonald's menu, in order to provide consumers with better taste and a more "exciting" dining experience. For example, the "Big Mac" box is illustrated with an image of a patty and lettuce on the cross section of a burger. The "Filet-O-Fish" box, for example, has a "FUN" package that evokes the waves of the ocean where Alaska Pollack is caught.

The new packaging design will be phased in as soon as the current packaging is out of stock. The new To go bags have already been introduced nationwide, and the burger boxes and cold drink cups will be available starting in mid-October.

The new packaging still uses FSC-certified paper, which is made in consideration of the forest environment and local communities.
