Lawson "Big Deep Fried Eel Inari" and "Niigata Koshihikari Onigiri: Kyushu Unagi Mabushi
On the day of the Ox, domestic eel at a reasonable price!

Today (July 25) is the day of the Ox. I want to eat eel, but domestic eel is a bit expensive.

So, if you want to eat domestic eel at a reasonable price, I recommend the eel sold by Lawson. For those who want to eat domestic eel at a reasonable price, I recommend the "Big Deep Fried Eel Inari" (260 yen including tax) and "Niigata Koshihikari Onigiri: Kyushu Unagi Mabushi" (268 yen including tax) from Lawson!

Big Deep Fried Unagi Inari

The "Big Deep Fried Eel Inari" is an inari sushi wrapped with Japanese chopped eel. The sushi rice is "flavored rice" with unagi rice sauce and sansho.

A little luxury inari-san

Eels are everywhere!

The eel is cut into small pieces, but the balance of flavors is enough to satisfy your taste buds. It goes well with the tangy sansho flavored sushi rice (naturally).

The more you bite into the deep-fried bean curd, the more you feel the umami. The more you bite into it, the more the flavor pours out.

The sansho (Japanese pepper) is very strong.

Niigata Koshihikari Onigiri Kyusyu Unagi Mabushi

Niigata Koshihikari Onigiri Kyusyu Unagi Mabushi" is a rice ball made with large, thick unagi (eel) chopped into bite-size pieces and mixed with plenty of rice. It is finished with a touch of Japanese sansho.

Moistly wrapped with seaweed.

The rice is filled with 1cm cubes of unagi (eel), so you can enjoy "unagi mabushi" no matter where you bite into it. The sansho (Japanese pepper) is not as strong as inari, but it has a nice flavor along with the seaweed.

If you'll excuse me for a moment, I have some seaweed...

Lawson "Niigata Koshihikari Onigiri: Kyushu Unagi Mabushi
A lot of chopped eel.

Both of them were very tasty and contained eel, but I think the inari with all the eel in one place might give you a better sense of the eel's presence. The teppan combo of unagi and sansho is also more enjoyable here.

The rice ball unagi mabushi has a very tasty flavored rice. I thought, "I can eat white rice with this as a side dish...". The chopped unagi is also small but plentiful, which makes me happy.

All of these products are limited to three weeks from July 18, so they will still be available on the second Ox Day (August 6). If you're in the mood for some quick eel, why not add it to your lunch? Please note, however, that there is a possibility that it will be sold out before then!
