Sushiro's First Urban Center-Based Store "Minami Ikebukuro Store

The conveyor-belt sushi chain Akindo Sushiro will open its first "urban-type store" in the Yamanote Line, the Minami Ikebukuro Store, on September 15.

In pursuit of speed and efficiency that can only be achieved in an urban area, the restaurant will introduce an "Auto Waiter," which will immediately deliver the ordered items to the customer's seat, and a "self-checkout" system that will allow customers to pay for their orders more quickly.


In addition to the standard sushi items and side dishes, the menu features the "Ikebukuro Selection," a lineup of dishes that are unique to Ikebukuro, tailored to the needs of business people, students, and other customers who are expected to visit the restaurant. The menu includes "Roast Beef Mountain" (300 yen, tax not included, same below) with yogurt sauce, "Sushi Dog" (120 yen) with sausage wrapped in seaweed, and "Mackerel Burger" (200 yen) with mackerel sandwiched in a fluffy bun.

Located at 1-16-18 Minami-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo, the restaurant is open from 11:00 to 23:00 on weekdays and from 10:30 to 23:00 on weekends and holidays.
