The "2016 Summer Shaved Ice Collection" is now available at the lounge of Hotel InterContinental Tokyo Bay (Minato-ku, Tokyo). Mr. Tokunaga, who was appointed as an executive chef pastry chef the other day, is working on it.

The lineup consists of 2 types of "2016 Summer Tokunaga Executive Chef Pastry Chef Adult French Shaved Ice" (2,200 yen each / tax not included) and 3 types of "Imabari Shaved Ice Tokyo Bay Style" (1,200 yen ~ / tax not included), for a total of 5 type.

It seems that the chef's desire for adult French shaved ice is like a dessert for course meals. "French shaved ice of peach and muscat" is a combination of rosé sparkling wine granita (ice confectionery served in French cuisine), lychee sorbet, seasonal peach and muscat. In addition, "French shaved ice of mango" is a combination of ripe mango, passion fruit, mango sorbet, and coconut blancmange, and you can enjoy rich mango luxuriously.

On the other hand, Imabari Shaved Ice Tokyo Bay Style is finished with the motif of "Imabari Shaved Ice" that Chef Tokunaga has been familiar with since he was a child in his hometown of Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture. Three flavors are available: "Matcha", "Momo & Strawberry", and "Setouchi Lemon".
