Amber Shirabe

Amber no Shirabe" is a brandy-infused yokan sold for a limited time only. The mellow aroma of French brandy is used to make the yokan, which is layered with amber jelly. The name "amber" refers to the color of the brandy, and "shirabe" refers to the arrangement of the pattern, which is reminiscent of rhythmic music. This richly flavored yokan is also recommended for Wagashi Day. The price is 2,160 yen (tax included, same as below).

Ume Pl

um at Night

Yoru no Ume" is Toraya's representative yokan, which was first made as yokan in 1819. The name is derived from a poem in the Kokin waka poetry anthology, "The darkness of a spring night is meaningless, for the color of the plum blossoms is invisible, but their fragrance is hidden. It reminds us of the waka poem, "The color of the plum blossoms cannot be seen, but only their wonderful fragrance cannot be hidden. This yokan is a taste of the Japanese culture of looking. Priced at 1,512 yen per medium-sized piece.

Yururuka

Yururuka" is a type of yokan characterized by its soft texture. It has a gentle sweetness and a smooth texture. All generations, from children to the elderly, can enjoy this yokan together. The lineup includes gozen (koshian) and matcha (green tea). Priced at 378 yen each.
