Anmitsu

The Christmas version of Anmitsu, a standard item that is popular with both Katsura Mochi and Kudzu Mochi, will be on sale. The star-shaped kuzumochi and tree-shaped green tea yokan make it more Christmasy! Japanese ingredients such as Funabashiya's homemade bean paste, agar and gyuuhi are added. Strawberries and mandarin oranges add a colorful and festive touch.


The cups are so generous that they have a simple reindeer limited edition design. It is easy to eat and is a perfect treat for yourself or as a gift. Both kuromitsu and shiro-mitsu (white honey) are available, so you can choose according to your preference.

Funabashiya Fun

abashiya is a Kanto style kuzumochi shop founded in 1805 during the Edo period and celebrating its 217th year in business in 2022. Funabashiya's kuzumochi is a fermented food made by steaming "wheat starch" after 450 days of lactic acid fermentation. The long lactic acid fermentation process produces a unique crunchiness and elasticity.
