Two types of katsu (pork cutlets) using spring ingredients are now available from Maizenzumi. The "Rape Blossom Rolled Cutlet" and the "Kurobuta Menchikatsu with Bamboo Shoots" will be available at directly managed stores.

Rape Blossom Rolled Katsu

The "Rape Blossom Rolled Cutlet" will be available from February 2 to March 15. The price is 281 yen per piece (tax included, same below).

It is a deep-fried pork cutlet wrapped with thinly sliced pork loin and boiled seasonal rape blossoms. You can enjoy the flavor of the pork and the boiled greens in a refreshing dashi broth. It is recommended that you take the first bite without dipping anything, and then dip it in soy sauce.

Kurobuta Menchikatsu with Bamboo Shoots

The "Bamboo Shoots with Kurobuta Menchikatsu" will be available from February 16 to March 29. The selling price is 292 yen per piece.

Large pieces of Japanese bamboo shoots are placed inside the menchi and deep-fried. The juicy flavor of the Kurobuta Menchi and the texture of the bamboo shoots make this dish a taste of spring.
