Bathynomus doedricus curry

Sunshine Aquarium's original product "Bathynomus doedricus curry" is a retort curry containing powdered bathynomus doedrum. Bathynomus doedricus is a member of the pill bug and Ligia exotica, and is the largest species of isopods in Japan. It is also called a "sea cleaner" because it is omnivorous and very greedy. The taste is similar to shrimp and crab.


Curry contains tom yum paste, coconut milk, nam pla, etc. in addition to bathynomus doedrum powder. When eating, warm the pouch with hot water or transfer to a deeper plate and heat in the microwave.

Tasting

It doesn't feel like the ingredients are stuffed like the package photo, but it has a moderate thickness. Is the red grain that can be seen here and there a paprika powder?


The first thing you feel is a mellow sweetness, followed by a tingling spiciness in the back of your throat. Spicy than expected! And a slightly shrimp-like flavor ... Maybe this is the "taste of the bathynomus dovetail" ...! ??


I imagined a slightly fishy flavor, but it has a rich flavor that enhances the taste of curry. There is a layer in the taste, and the quality is high as a retort curry! It goes well with ordinary white rice.


The sunshine aquarium "Ogusokumushi Shinkai Curry" has a delicious taste as well as an impact. As it is an original product, it is a perfect souvenir.
