Hot gratin that is delicious in the cold season. Sagamiya sells the "Protein-free Tofu Gratin" series, which allows you to easily enjoy gratin that is troublesome if you make it from scratch. There are two types of lineup: "Protein-free tofu gratin tomato sauce" and "Protein-free tofu gratin shrimp creamy sauce".

Tofu gratin with protein tomato sauce

A set of tofu made from special soy milk, tomato-flavored gratin sauce, and a tray. Gratin sauce is simmered with the taste of beef based on tomato paste.


To make it, just put the tofu and gratin sauce in the attached paper tray, top it with shredded cheese, and heat it with a toaster (without preheating) for about 8 minutes. In the case of a microwave oven, heat it at 500W for 4 and a half minutes. For cheese, I used "BEYOND TOFU Shred" from Sagamiya.


If you want other ingredients, top with your favorite one. If you add vegetables etc. first and then heat it, uneven heating will occur, and moisture will come out from the material and it will become watery, so it is recommended to put it later. This time it's topped with broccoli.


Tofu gratin has a smooth and melty mouthfeel. The soy taste of tomato sauce enhances the mellow taste of soybeans. The flavor is rich with the melted cheese and the aroma of the baked surface. It is lighter than gratin made with bechamel sauce, but has a deep richness.
