Easy 5-minute snack recipe. Here's an instant cheese takkarbi made with a can of yakitori!

Ingredients

Here is what you need to prepare. The recipe is based on Snow Brand's recipe.

1 can of yakitori (yakitori with sauce)
1 teaspoon gochujang (red pepper paste)
30 g melted cheese

If you do not have gochujang, you can substitute a mixture of miso, soy sauce, chili pepper (or shichimi if you do not have it), sugar, and sesame oil.

How to make

Open the can of yakitori and transfer the contents to a serving bowl.

To the vessel

Add gochujang or substitute paste, mix together, top with melted cheese, cover with plastic wrap and microwave at 500 W for 1 minute. Sprinkle with small green onions if desired.

In this case, I substituted miso and other ingredients.

Put a lot of cheese on it.

Microwave it for a minute and you're done!

How does it taste?

The smoky flavor of the grilled chicken, the mild richness of the cheese, and the spiciness of the gochujang (spicy red pepper paste) all mingle together to create the most delicious dish! For an improvised dish, it tastes more like cheese takkarbi than I expected. The more cheese you put on top, the firmer and richer the taste becomes.

piping hot

The canned chicken is still a bit dry compared to freshly grilled chicken, but the gochujang and cheese wrap it up in a lush, fresh package, so there is no problem. The result is satisfying enough as a small snack. Add this dish to the snack repertoire of any drinker!
