bowl Sushiro's "Eel bowl" is a summer staple that is sold on the day of the Ushi (the day of the ox). This year, there are two types to choose from: "Single" (880 yen including tax) with five eels and "Double" (1,580 yen including tax) with ten eels.

Eel bowl double (10 pieces of eel)

Every detail of the eel bowl is carefully selected, from the ingredients to the steaming and grilling processes, and even the sauce. To preserve the freshness and flavor of the eel, the eels are cured live and steamed to make them plump, and then slowly grilled white to remove excess fat and condense the flavor. Furthermore, the original flavor of the eel is enhanced by layering the eel with Sushiro's special sauce.

Sushi rice is used to make a hearty yet refreshing dish. The plump eels are served in a bowl with a sweet and spicy sauce, making this an exquisite bowl of eel rice.
