Marugame Seimen "Umashiri Tantalizing Udon", "Taru Chicken Nanban Bukkake Udon", and "Meat and Burdock Gobo Kamatama Udon

Marugame Seimen will sell "Umakara Tangy Udon" and "Taru Chicken Nanban Bukkake Udon" from October 25 to the end of November. Some stores, mainly street stores, will sell "Niku Gobo Kamatama Udon" (udon noodles with meat and burdock root).

Umashiri Tanzan Udon

The popular "Umakarashi Tantan Udon" is a dish of thick Tantan soup, minced meat, spicy raayu, colorful spinach, and bonito powder, all of which are a perfect match. This year, the "spiciness" has evolved. The spiciness of the chicken and pork minced meat with minced chili peppers is more pronounced, and the flavor of the meat can also be tasted.


The amount of spicy raayu to go with the thick soup is adjusted by the gram. The fresh aroma of sansho and citrus fruits spreads in your mouth. The spiciness is the decisive factor in the lingering taste.


The tantan-men soup, to which plenty of sesame paste has been added, has a flavor unique to Marugame Seimen. The freshly pounded udon noodles, made from 100% domestic wheat, are matched with the tantan-mado soup and spicy raayu (spiced raayu).


A wide variety of free condiments are available, including the standard condiments "green onion" and "grated ginger. You can enjoy every last mouthful of the rich soup of "Umashiri Tantan-yaki Udon" by arranging them as you like.


Priced at 690 yen for (average), 820 yen for (large), and 950 yen for (special), including tax. To go items are only available in (ordinary) and (large) sizes. A separate charge of 30 yen per cup will be added to each to-go item to cover the cost of the container.

Tal Chicken Nanban Bukkake Udon Noodle

A new version of the very popular "Tarudori Tenbukkake Udon". The secret to its deliciousness is the two kinds of tartar sauce. One is a tartar sauce with a sour taste that allows you to enjoy the texture of boiled eggs, and the other is a mild tartar sauce with finely chopped boiled eggs. The addition of bonito powder as a secret ingredient makes the dish more compatible with bukkake-dashi and udon noodles.


The chicken tempura is juicy and succulent, made from chicken thighs that have been seasoned with yuzu and carefully deep-fried. The combination of the soy sauce-based flavorful bukkake kaeshi and the nanban dashi, which has a balance of sweet and sour flavors, combines with the richness of the chicken tempura's fat to create a richer flavor.


The price including tax is 740 yen for (ordinary), 870 yen for (large), and 1,000 yen for (special). To go items are only available in (ordinary) and (large) sizes. A separate charge of 30 yen per cup will be added to each to-go item to cover the cost of the container.

Udon Noodle with Meat and Burdock Roots

Freshly pounded udon noodles, flavorful beef cooked right in front of your eyes, crispy gobo (burdock root) that soaks up the flavor, and a mild raw egg make a perfect combination. Stirring the egg well while it is still hot will heat it up and allow you to enjoy the thick, semi-boiled part of the egg.


The udon noodles, which are scooped directly from the pot and not watered down, have a sticky texture just like shiratama (white rice balls). The sweet and spicy sauce with a fragrant soy sauce aroma is thoroughly entwined with the noodles, creating an irresistible taste. Mixing the udon noodles with the ingredients well deepens the flavor and enhances the deliciousness of the dish.
