Cocos "Curry Plate with Summer Vegetables and Cheese Hamburger Steak" and "Cold Grated Udon Noodles with Tokushima Sudachi

Cocos will hold a monthly fair "Seasonal Hitosara - July" on July 1, featuring seasonal ingredients. Cocos will offer "Curry Plate with Summer Vegetables and Cheese Hamburger Steak" and "Cold Udon Noodle with Grated Tokushima Sudachi".

Seasonal Hitosara - July

In July, two dishes will be available: a one-plate dish featuring a hamburger steak, authentic beef curry, and colorful summer vegetables, and cold udon noodles with a whole Tokushima-grown sudachi (Japanese citrus fruit) and grated radish, which looks refreshing. The cold grated udon noodles are made with a whole piece of sudashi produced in Tokushima Prefecture.

This menu features Coco's signature hamburger steak and spicy authentic curry. Topped with eggplant, bell peppers, young corn, okra, and snap peas, the curry dish provides a half-day's worth of vegetables (more than 175 grams of vegetables, compared to the target of more than 350 grams per day for adults, as stipulated in Health Japan 21). By changing the cooking method for each type of vegetable, you can enjoy the original flavor and aroma of summer vegetables and the different textures of each ingredient.

The hamburger steak topped with rich cheddar cheese and demi-glace sauce goes great with rice. The demi-glace sauce and beef curry are also delicious together, making this a hearty dish that can be shared by everyone. Priced at 1,199 yen (tax included).

Cold grated udon noodles with Tokushima Prefecture sudachi

This dish combines Japanese wheat noodles with a firmer texture than in past years, a bonito and kelp flavored broth, plenty of grated daikon, whole sudachi (Japanese citrus fruit), and fresh myoga. Three kinds of condiments are available as an optional extra: hana-katsuo (dried bonito), chopped nori (seaweed), and crunchy soy sauce.

We recommend starting with a simple squeeze of Tokushima Prefecture's sudachi for its aroma and refreshing sourness, followed by hana-katsuo (dried bonito) and chopped nori (seaweed) for their elegant flavors and umami. Finally, enjoy the addictive texture and flavor of crunchy soy sauce for a unique Cocos arrangement. Priced at 759 yen (tax included).

If you are looking for a hearty meal, the choice of a small bowl set (+220 yen) is perfect. You can choose from "Salmon kodon", "Shirasu kodon", or "Tuna tataki donburi".
