MUJI's "Takikomikomi Gohan-no Moto" series allows you to make takikomikomi gohan with a variety of ingredients simply by cooking the rice with it. This fall, products featuring "chicken" and "beef" will be added as new standard items. Chicken is teriyaki grilled, and two kinds of beef are combined to enjoy the flavor of the meat. The product is made with kombu (kelp) broth, which gives it an aromatic flavor and brings out the best in the ingredients.

Beef Gomoku Gohan (Rice cooked with beef and vegetables)

This takikomikomi gohan moto combines beef cooked in soy sauce with eight different ingredients, including deep-fried tofu and burdock root. Two types of beef are combined to give the rice an ingredient and flavor combination. Abura-age and shiitake mushrooms are used to add flavor, and konnyaku and bamboo shoots are added for color and to enjoy a variety of textures.
