Hanamaru Udon will be holding a "Tsukemen Fair".

Two new types of tsukemen, "Spicy Beef Tsukemen" and "Seafood Tonkotsu Tsukemen", will be available for a limited time only from March 3 to mid-April.

Beef spicy tsukemen

Beef spicy tsukemen is a bowl of udon noodles topped with a generous portion of juicy beef simmered in sweet and spicy sauce with onions. It is a hearty dish that will satisfy even meat lovers. The spicy dipping sauce is made by adding white sesame seeds and sesame raayu to the warm dashi, which is a combination of kake dashi and dipping sauce, and goes well with both the udon and the sweet and spicy beef.

Seafood Tonkotsu Tsukemen

Seafood and pork bone tsukemen is topped with chashu pork, nori seaweed, and fish powder that is filled with the flavor of fish. The fish powder, which is a combination of dried sardines and dried mackerel flakes, accentuates the taste of the dish. The dipping sauce is a rich broth made from dried sardines, mackerel flakes, and bonito flakes, combined with pork bone broth, and topped with yuzu. The combination of seafood, pork bones, and yuzu makes for a rich yet slightly refreshing soup that goes well with udon.

The price for both small and medium udon is 690 yen (tax included). For To go, a 30 yen container fee will be charged per bowl of udon.
