This seasonal yokan is made with koshi-an (sweet red bean paste) and strawberries. The gentle flavor of strawberries is said to evoke the feeling of spring.

Spring Iro Assortment No. 1" will be available in limited quantities from February 15 to late March. The selling price is 2,160 yen per box.

The limited edition spring box with yellow and pink butterflies fluttering in the air contains "Strawberry" small yokan and three types of Toraya's monaka (bean-jam filling). The contents are as follows.

Cherry Blossom Mochi with Red Bean Paste" will be available from February 25 to April 10 at some stores and other fresh confectionery stores. The sales period may vary from store to store. The price is 476 yen per piece.

Gozen-an (sweet red bean paste) is wrapped in thinly rolled and baked dough, and then wrapped with salted cherry leaves. You can enjoy the subtle fragrance of the cherry leaves.

Japanese yam "Hatsuzakura

Tororo Yame-Made "Hatsuzakura" will be available from March 4 to 15 at confectionary stores in the Kanto region and Kyoto. The selling price is 454 yen per piece.

According to Toraya, "Hatsuzakura" is also called "Hatsuhana" and refers to cherry blossoms that bloom for the first time that year. It is made of white grated yam dough covered with red yokan (bean jelly), and has the freshness of cherry blossoms.

This confectionary is made with the Japanese idea that "the beauty of cherry blossoms in full bloom as if celebrating spring should not only be appreciated by oneself, but should also be folded by hand and taken home. It is said that this confection is a reflection of Japanese people's love for cherry blossoms.

Seasonal Yokan "Sakura no Sato

Seasonal Yokan "Sakura no Sato" will be available from early March to early April. The price is 1,944 yen for a medium-sized bottle.

It is made of Domyoji jelly and brick yokan with finely chopped salted cherry leaves. The texture is similar to that of Domyoji's cherry rice cakes, and you can enjoy the subtle fragrance of cherry leaves.
