Products named after the Chinese zodiac sign "dragon" and the theme "Wa" for the beginning of the poetry festival in 2024 will be on sale sequentially at Toraya stores from November 20, 2012. In addition to the "Oriental Zodiac Sign Package Small Yokan," "Small Yokan 5-pack in an Oriental Zodiac Pattern Box," "Oriental Zodiac Yokan 'Akenryu'" and "Gozaimu Yokan 'Nagomigumo'", the "Oriental Zodiac Furoshiki 'Dragon'" is also available.

This is a limited time offer package of small yokan with the Chinese zodiac sign of the year "dragon" on it. The image of the dragon flying leisurely in the wide sky expresses the wish for a peaceful New Year. There are three types of yokan: Ogura yokan "Night Plum", brown sugar yokan "Omokage", and matcha yokan "Shinryo". They will be on sale from November 20 to mid-January 2024. Each is priced at 292 yen (tax included).

Small Yokan 5-pack in a zodiac design box

This limited-time-only box features a dragon soaring in the sky. Recommended as a casual gift or for home use. After eating, the box can be used as a small container for small articles. Dragons have long been revered as divine beasts and are depicted in many paintings and myths. The "Ake no Ryu" is a red and green yokan that depicts a dragon flying in the sky tinted red by the morning glow. The design is a sign of good fortune at the beginning of the new year. The price is 1,944 yen for the medium size and 3,888 yen for the bamboo skin wrapper. The product will be on sale from late November to mid-January 2024.

Nagomigumo Yokan "Wamigumo

This confectionery was created in reference to the theme of the 2024 Utakaihajime, "Wa" (harmony). Looking up at the sky and watching the clouds slowly flowing by is a relaxing experience. The colored clouds, which are considered auspicious, are represented by white domyoji kan and light red neri yokan. Oriental Zodiac Furoshiki: Dragon

This furoshiki (wrapping cloth) features a dragon soaring in the sky in a design that matches the small yokan packages of the Chinese zodiac. The product will be on sale from November 20 and will be discontinued as soon as it is gone.
