McDonald's "Toy Recycling 2021

McDonald's has decided to continue implementing its toy recycling project, in which Happy Set toys that are no longer played with are collected and recycled at stores nationwide. The toy collection will begin on March 19 under the name "Toy Recycling 2021.

In 2020, the third year of the project, approximately 2.7 million toys were collected. These toys will be recycled into recycling trays and other products in the future.

Previously, paper collection boxes were placed in each store, but this time "toy collection boxes" recycled from the toys collected through the project will be placed sequentially in all stores. It is hoped that these boxes will make toy recycling a fun and memorable experience.


In order to further contribute to the realization of a sustainable society, the collection period will no longer be set to coincide with children's long vacations, but will now be conducted throughout the year. Toys can now be recycled at any McDonald's restaurant nationwide at any time.
