At approximately 2,600 FamilyMart stores in the Kansai region (2 prefectures and 4 prefectures), the "Kansai-style Japanese cuisine set" developed with store staff working in the Kansai region will be released on December 8 as a community-based initiative. The price is 510 yen (excluding tax).

At FamilyMart, we are actively implementing community-based initiatives in which store staff working in the area participate in product proposals and selection. The "Kansai-style Japanese food set" that will be released this time is "pleasing to people in the Kansai region" because there were many "Japanese food" menus among the approximately 200 bento ideas submitted by the store staff. Developed with the concept of "Japanese bento that you can get". Employees working in the company's district office held discussions and tastings with the store staff, and made a bento that was particular about the Kansai style, including ingredients and seasonings.


A Japanese-style set that focuses on Kansai-style seasoning for each ingredient, such as using light soy sauce for kinpira burdock and spinach. “Kayaku rice”, a classic Kansai flavored rice, is cooked in white rice. The bonito dashi-filled dashi-rolled egg is topped with soboro-an, and the fried chicken seasoned with Japanese-style dashi is topped with sweet and sour sauce.
