The Japanese sweet "Toraya" will sell chestnut sweets that make you feel the arrival of autumn from the beginning of September. Yokan and Kanoko using only domestically produced "new chestnuts" that can be harvested that year. Both will be available for a limited time.

Chestnut steamed yokan

"Chestnut-steamed yokan" is made by adding flour and kudzu to the bean paste and steaming it with chestnuts. A dish that you can enjoy the chewy texture and the flavor of new chestnuts that are unique to steamed yokan. Available from mid-September to mid-November, the selling price is 2,376 yen for medium size and 4,752 yen for bamboo skin wrap. Not sold at some stores.

Small yokan "new chestnut"

The small yokan "Shinkuri" is a dish made from backed chestnuts and white bean paste. The chestnut flavor spreads mellowly in your mouth. It is available from October 1st to mid-November, and the selling price is 368 yen. Not sold at some stores.

Seasonal confectionery "Chestnut Goyomi"

The seasonal confectionery "Chestnut Goyomi" is a confectionery made only from new chestnuts, sugar and agar to make the best use of the flavor of chestnuts. Handling from mid-September to mid-November. The selling price is 324 yen. Not sold at some stores.

Namagashi

In addition, three types of products using new chestnuts will appear at namagashi dealers. The selling price is 584 yen per piece.

"Chestnut-steamed yokan" (namagashi) is made by adding wheat flour and kudzu powder to the bean paste, and the flavor of new chestnuts is carefully steamed. It is available from early September to October 31st.

"Chestnut flour mochi" (with bean paste in Gyuhi wrapping) is a confectionery made from a mixture of backed chestnuts and white bean paste and attached to the bean paste in Gyuhi wrapping. It is available from early September to October 31st, but will not be sold at the Gotemba store from October 27th to October 29th.

"Kurikanoko" (with white bean paste) has honey-pickled glossy chestnuts attached to the bean paste, making it feel like a fruitful autumn. It is available from early September to September 25th, but will be on sale at the Gotemba store until October 31st. It is not handled by TORAYA AOYAMA.

All of them will be on sale as soon as high quality chestnuts are secured, so the sales time may be delayed.
