Sasami no Oyako-don (Beef and Chicken Bowl)
Ingredients (for 2 servings)
200 g white meat (without muscle)1/2 onion
2 eggs
2 bowls of rice
2 tablespoons mirin (sweet cooking rice wine)
1 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/3 teaspoon Japanese granulated soup stock
150cc water
Toppings to taste
Directions for preparation
1. Add mirin, sugar, soy sauce, Japanese granulated soup stock and water to a frying pan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
2. Add white meat, cut into bite-size pieces, and onion, cut into thin slices, and simmer for about 5 minutes.

3. Pour in the beaten egg and when it is half-cooked, turn off the heat, cover and steam for 1 minute.


4. Place the ingredients on a bowl of rice and sprinkle with mitsuba leaves, etc. as desired, and you are done!

Sasami is moist and delicious!
