I want to easily eat and buy delicious foods from Ehime prefecture. At such times, the antenna shop is convenient. At "Kagawa Ehime Setouchi Shunsaikan" in Shinbashi, Tokyo, you can enjoy everything from traditional dishes to special products.

The place is "Shimbashi Marine Building" just outside the Ginza exit of JR Shimbashi station. Ehime and Kagawa prefectures are jointly working on it, and when you enter the store, the corner of Kagawa with a green tag and the corner of Ehime with an orange tag are neatly separated.

I visited during the lunch break on weekdays, but there were many customers and there were lines at the cash register. I'm attracted to the product sales, but I'm hungry, so I went to the restaurant "Kaorihime" on the 2nd floor.

When you go up the stairs, it is even more crowded than the first floor. It's a completely popular lunch spot. Looking at the menu, it seems that you can eat traditional dishes of Kagawa and Ehime at a reasonable price. Order "Taimeshi and Mini Udon", which is limited to 50 meals a day. The price was 880 yen (tax included).

The food arrived without waiting so much even though it was full. First try the mini udon noodles. The noodles are firm and chewy, and the dashi stock is refreshing and looks like a soup stock, even though the bonito is good. It flattened in a blink of an eye.

Next is sashimi. When you carry the rice with chopsticks, each bite has a scent of sea bream and the flavor is munmun. There is no fish shape left anywhere, and even though it looks like a fancy cooked rice, I realize that I am eating a lot of sea bream. This was also eaten soon. By the way, at this time of year, the rice used is "Uwa rice" from Seiyo City, Ehime.

When I was completely satisfied, I noticed that a small bowl of cold sardine remained. When I swam my eyes, I found an interesting seasoning that I could put on as I like. It is a special product of Ehime, "Ozu Tamari Soy Sauce". I imagined a rich taste, but when I put it on tofu, I didn't feel that much taste. It's just delicious, and the condiment grated ginger goes very well.

Now that I'm hungry, I go back to the first floor and look around for special products. There are so many things to look at, but some of the vegetable corners are delayed in arrival due to heavy rain in the production area.

Then, I bought the Japanese sweet "Shigure" from Ozu to try something else. There are various types of citrons, chestnuts, mugwort, and other local ingredients, all of which are reasonably priced at a hundred and several tens of yen.

When I try to eat it, it tastes like a middle ground between mochi sweets and yokan. It's sticky, but the sweetness is modest. The chewy texture of the azuki beans that came in as a whole was a nice accent. I want strong tea. The recommended flavor is "Yuzu Shigure". You can enjoy the delicious taste of wild citrus fruits with the scent of gut and yuzu.

"Kagawa / Ehime Setouchi Shunsaikan" is good to eat and buy, but it will be closed due to renewal from mid-August. If you can't wait until the reopening in early October, it might be a good idea to visit this summer.
