Cute sweets found at the long-established Japanese confectionery store, Shiose Sohonke. I bought "Hello Kitty Manju", "Hachiko Manju", and "Strawberry", a namagashi.

Hello Kitty Manju is a bun that reproduces the face of the Sanrio character Hello Kitty. Two types, red and white, are available. The price is 324 yen (tax included, same below).

The Sanrio character My Melody Manju is also on sale, but unfortunately it was sold out when I visited. It seems to be popular, so it might be better to go to the store early.

"Hachiko Manju" is a bun that imitates the bee that is familiar to Shibuya's symbol "Hachiko Statue". This is also made in the same way as Kitty, and you can enjoy the exquisite matching of skin and rice cake. The price is 324 yen.
