It will be sold at the Akasaka store, Tokyo Midtown store, Imperial Hotel store, Toraya Tokyo, and Nihonbashi store. The price is 432 yen per piece (tax included, same below).

Toraya holds in-store sales of specially ordered products on the 15th of each month at the Akasaka store and some of its directly managed stores only. The new item is the "Earl Grey Manjuu", a manjuu developed at the Paris store that incorporates a flavor familiar to French people.

The "Earl Grey Manju" is a product with red bean paste wrapped in dough made from Earl Grey, a black tea characterized by its bergamot aroma. Normally, this product is made upon reservation up to five days in advance. Since the quantity is limited, it will be discontinued as soon as it is gone.

The Akasaka store also offers a series of store-exclusive May fresh confections.

at Toraya Akasaka: "Tama-dasuki Nishiki-chimaki (made by Sotora)", "Yokan-tamagashi Ki (made by Yokan) with Gozen-an (red bean paste)", "Oshimono Shiki-no-kou-midori (made by Sotora) with Ame-an (sweet red bean paste)" and "Asahigawa Asahi-gawa (made by Sotora) with Beni-an (red bean paste).

The red and white Sotora dough is twisted together to resemble a tamadasuki (a beautiful name for a wrapping cloth). Nishiwa-chimaki is an indispensable sweet for Dragon Boat Festival, and was used to ward off evil spirits at court during the Heian period (794-1185). Usually wrapped in rushes, Nishiki Zongzi is made with red and white strings. It is sold from April 16 to May 5. The price is 594 yen.

The "tamakashiwa ki" is made of yokan, a type of sweet bean jelly, and is made in the shape of a mountain with a yellowish brownish color and a yellowish brownish paste. It is reminiscent of an underwater rock overgrown with algae. The name is thought to be derived from the beautiful name of Kashiwa (oak), or "tama-kenban" (a hard rock found underwater). It will be on sale from May 6 to May 15 (closed on May 8). Price: 540 yen.

Shiki" refers to the four elements that arise and disappear between heaven and earth: spring warmth, summer heat, autumn coolness, and winter coldness. Oshimono's "Shiki no Aroma" comes in four colors: green, red, yellow, and brown, and this time, "green," which evokes the fresh green air, is available with matcha green tea. It will be on sale from May 6 to May 29 (closed on May 8). The price is 465 yen.

Asahikawa" is a confectionary with red bean paste wrapped in white dough made by Sotora. It reminds one of the morning sun reflected on the river waves. Korakuen Garden, one of the three most famous gardens in Japan, is located in the middle of the Asahi River (Asahi River) in Okayama Prefecture. It is on sale from May 16 to May 31. The price is 540 yen.
