Fujiya's popular "Home Pie" product

Fujiya Home Pie Recipe

Today (August 1) is Pie Day. There are many different pie treats, but my favorite is "Home Pie"! The crispy texture and buttery flavor are so addictive. I usually eat it plain, but when I think about it, it is a pastry that is quite versatile. I thought that with a little effort, I could make a delicious menu...?

I immediately looked into it and found a collection of arranged recipes on the official Fujiya website! I selected three recipes from the collection that were easy to make and looked delicious, and actually tried them out!

Morning Cereal

Balls

First, "Morning Cereal Balls". The ingredients are home pie, fruit of your choice, and milk. The official website listed banana chips, almond bowl, and blueberries, but I used my favorite frozen mixed berries and bananas.

The berries make the colors more vibrant.

First, roughly crush the home pie while it is still in the bag. If you want a crunchy texture, it is best to lightly pound it a couple of times with a fist.

Beat the "Home Pie" from the top of the bag to roughly crush it.
No problem if you break it with your finger instead of hitting it with your fist.

Put the crushed home pies in a bowl, pour in the milk, top with more fruit of your choice, and voila! These easy cereal balls look gorgeous and will look great on social media.

Milk drop!

Pour milk over crumbled home pie, add toppings, and your "Morning Cereal Ball" is ready!
Topping and you're done!

The texture is crunchy at first, but as the milk soaks in over time, it takes on a different texture and is delicious! They would also go well with cinnamon powder or chocolate sauce.

Prosciutto and Cheese Pie "Prosciutto and Cheese Pie" is even easier! All you need is a home pie, cream cheese, prosciutto, and other toppings. Cut the home pie in half lengthwise and cut the cream cheese into bars. The size of the cream cheese I used is just right for three equal portions. Adjust the size of the cheese as you look at the divided home pie.

This recipe is so easy too!

Divide "Home Pie" in half.
with a snap

Cut cream cheese
Just big enough to fit in a split pie.

Once the ham is cut in 1/2, simply place the cream cheese on top of the pie and wrap it around. Serve nice on a plate and you are done. The crispy sweet pie matches the cream cheese and the saltiness of the prosciutto. This is a dish that will make drinks go down a treat. This is a recipe that can be made quickly even if you have unexpected guests, so there is no harm in keeping it in mind!

Put cream cheese on the divided "home pie".
Top with cheese.

After neatly topping the plate, the "Prosciutto & Cheese Pie" is ready to serve.
Decorate and you're done!

The "ham and cheese pie" combines the saltiness of ham and cheese with the sweetness of the pie.
Looks like it would go well with a glass of wine!

Home Pie Yogurt Ice Cream Rolls "Home Pie Yogurt Ice Cream Rolls" is a recipe that requires a little more work than the above two recipes. But it turns out tasty because of that. Ingredients are home pie, ice cream (vanilla), plain yogurt, and fruit of your choice.

The final challenge is the dessert menu.

First, remove the ice cream from the refrigerator and let it stand at room temperature until slightly softened. Meanwhile, put the home pie in a bag and crush it into small pieces with a rolling pin. It is OK if it is as fine as a sprinkle.

Crush "Home Pie" in a plastic bag into small pieces.
Be careful not to tear the plastic bag and scatter the contents.

Add the softened ice cream and plain yogurt to a bowl and mix well. Add the fruit and mix lightly, then roll it out onto a cookie sheet and shape it into a cylinder. When rolling it up, it will be easier to roll it up if you put a rolling pin underneath. After rolling, place in the refrigerator and chill for 15 to 20 minutes to harden.

Place ice cream on cookie sheet and wrap into a tube.
A little tricky to roll and trim!

Spread the crumbled home pie on another cookie sheet, top with ice cream taken out of the refrigerator, and roll it up. If you are not confident, you can use a spoon or something to scoop out the home pie and shape it while covering it with the ice cream.

Put the crumbled pie on a cookie sheet.

If the pie has trouble sticking to the yogurt ice cream, smear it with a spoon.
If the pie doesn't stick, dust lightly with a spoon.

Cut into bite-size pieces with a knife, and you're done! It was relatively easy to make, even for the author who rarely makes pastries. The pie is covered with a crunchy texture, making it a very satisfying sweet. The addition of yogurt to the ice cream gives it a slightly sour and refreshing taste.

The shape is a little (?) The distortion is a charm.

The Home Pie Yogurt Ice Cream Roll is a perfect combination of refreshing yogurt ice cream and pie.
Tastes great! I think I could do better once I get used to rolling it up?

I used leftover frozen mixed berries, but the recipe on the official website calls for mango and kiwi fruit. The colors are gorgeous and summery.
