Lawson "Crispy Kouign-amann"
Lawson's Kouign-amann has changed

At each Lawson store, "Crispy Kouign-amann" was released on March 7 (excluding some areas and stores). The price is 120 yen (tax included).

This is a baked Danish pastry with a rich butter flavor, and the surface is coated with candy. By changing the method of making from the previously sold explosive Kouign-amann and folding the dough vertically, it seems that the crispy feeling is further enhanced.

When you bite into the crispy candy coating, the fragrant sweetness of caramel spreads along with the chewy texture. The dough inside is moist. With each bite, the mellow scent of butter overflows because of the layered fluffy dough.

Also, if you warm it up a little with a toaster, the coating will have a crispy and light texture, and the dough inside will have a fluffy mouthfeel. You can feel the scent of butter, the umami that oozes out as you chew, and the slight saltiness. Yeah!
