Lawson's "ZEHIN" Bakery: A Comparison of Four Bakery

Items Did you know that Lawson has a "ZEHIN" series of breads in its bread section? At the time of writing, the lineup includes four types of bread: "Zeppin Melon Pan," "Zeppin Condensed Milk France," "Zeppin Arabi Pork Flank Roll," and "Zeppin Curry Pan.

LAWSON must have a lot of confidence in their "zeppin" products.... This time, we took the liberty of comparing these four "exquisite" bakery items to see which one is the best!

Excellent Arabi Pork Flank Roll

A roll of bread with a piece of Arabi Pork Flank Sausage sandwiched in between. It contains 333 kcal and is priced at 171 yen (tax included, same as below).


The slightly sweet, moist, and chewy bread is filled with a hearty portion of crispy, tender, and juicy pork flank sausage. The sweet and sour ketchup and tangy mustard accentuate the classic taste.



Personally, I recommend heating up this bread in the microwave rather than eating it as is. The sausage becomes fluffy and juicy, and the taste is closer to the one you would get at a café.

Excellent Condensed Milk Milk French French

bread with rich condensed milk cream sandwiched between two slices of French bread. It contains 316 kcal and is priced at 138 yen.


The bread is firm and chewy, but soft and fluffy to the touch. The simple and rustic wheat-flavored dough enhances the sweet, melt-in-your-mouth condensed milk cream inside.



The cream has a refreshing aftertaste without the sweetness you might imagine from the word "condensed milk," so you can enjoy it easily. The long and thin shape makes it easy to eat, and the specification to prevent the cream from overflowing is also highly recommended.

: This melon pan was relaunched in March 2023. It has 337 kcal and is priced at 127 yen.


The surface is crispy and the inside is soft and fluffy! And yet, when you bite into it, it feels moist in your mouth. Above all, from the moment you take a bite, you can smell the rich aroma of butter..!



The rich sweetness and mellow aroma is so rich and satisfying. This is a dish that will perfectly satisfy your craving for melon bread.

Excellent Curry B
