Kouign-amann is a Western confectionery born in Brittany, France. Brioche-like dough is often made and butter is baked on Oricon. It is also sold as a type of sweet bread in Japan.

Lawson's product is caramelized and baked with butter-flavored Danish pastry. Since its release about two weeks ago, its popularity has gradually increased, and last week it has surpassed the classic and most popular old-fashioned donut chocolate.
