A new product, "Steamed Chicken and Vegetable Pho," is on sale from January 11th at 7-ELEVEN stores in the Tokyo metropolitan area (excluding some stores). The price is 450 yen (tax included).
This product is Vietnamese food "Pho" using flat rice flour noodles. It is topped with steamed chicken, vegetables (sunny lettuce, bean sprouts, tomatoes, green onions, purple onions) and lemon.
The soup is stewed with chicken meat and steamed chicken. The sourness of the nam pla and the faint lemon is effective, and the taste of the chicken is rich while having a smooth mouthfeel.
The noodles are crispy, chewy and elastic. You can enjoy the contrast of the texture with the crispy bean sprouts.
Plenty of noodles and soup are enough to eat. Still, I am happy that the calories are as low as 382 kcal per meal.
