"Beef Skifor" at Tanita Cafe
For some reason, Tanita's cafe is good at Vietnamese noodle dish "Pho"

Do you know Tanita Cafe? As the name suggests, Tanita's cafe is known as a body composition analyzer maker, and for some reason the Vietnamese noodle dish "Pho" is delicious.

While manufacturing and selling electronic devices such as body composition analyzers, Tanita is enthusiastically developing restaurants that offer low-calorie and nutritionally balanced menus. Tanita Cafe is one of them. In Tokyo, it is located in Yurakucho. It's quite prosperous at noon.

I think that sandwiches and Danish pastries are the main products of the cafe, but as mentioned above, the Vietnamese noodle dishes, pho, are fulfilling. Eat flat, half-clear, whitish noodles made from rice flour, similar to kishimen, with hot soup.

GYSUKI PHO

There are as many types of Tanita Cafe as there are Vietnamese restaurants in Pho, and there are more and more limited-time menus. "GYSUKI PHO" or "Beef shabu-shabu and hot spring egg pho finished with Japanese soup stock" has appeared as a seasonal menu until December 10.

Pho is delicious. Next to the right is "mochi wheat"

The price is 1,280 yen (excluding tax, the same applies below), which is one of the highest among the many four menus, but I am excited because it is a big deal. In addition, the shop staff told me that "mochi wheat" could be added for an additional 100 yen, so I asked for it at this time.

The bowls that have been served are quite large. Vegetables, beef and hot spring eggs are lined up neatly on the top. Break the egg and eat it. When you bring it to your mouth, the beef and noodles, which are sweet and salty yolks, are entwined, and you can feel the sukiyaki taste.

Tangle the noodles!

However, the soup stock is not very salty despite its dashi stock. It is transparent and easy to drink, unlike the sukiyaki warishita. It looks like a sushi. In addition, the herbs mixed in with plenty of greenery have a refreshing scent. It has a lot of mint and a little cilantro that goes well with pho.

Mizuna, toumyo, bean sprouts, green onions, etc. each have a different crispy taste, so you won't get tired of eating them. After flattening the noodles and toppings, I drink more and more soup. Egg yolk melts and has a soft mouthfeel. At this stage, there is no sukiyaki-like taste left, but it doesn't matter because it's delicious. My body gets very warm.

I was completely absorbed in Pho, but don't forget. I also have mochi wheat. This is a rice-style cooked rice in a small bowl. Carrots, lotus roots, etc. are chopped into very small pieces and mixed. Especially the lotus root is very chewy. It has a light taste, so you can sprinkle some pho soup on it. It was light and light with the noodles, but when I finished eating it, I was quite full.

I had a very interesting experience of "enjoying Japanese-style Vietnamese food at a cafe of an electronic equipment manufacturer."
