Remaking Leftover Sandwiches

Sandwiches are easy to make and delicious, but although I have made sandwiches with leftover ingredients, I had never thought of remaking leftover sandwiches.

One day, however, a "leftover sandwich" appeared in front of me. It was left over from a catering event, and I was told, "Why don't you make it for tomorrow's meal? I was given it to me. But the surface was a little dry, probably because it had been left out for a while. It didn't look good to eat it as it was.

So I suddenly thought of French toast. And not a sweet one, but a savory type (meal type) French toast, not sweet. I made it right away!

When I bit into the hot, salty ingredients of the sandwich, I was surprised to find that they blended strangely well with the egg mixture. The ham, in particular, was a perfect match. It would be delicious with cheese, too! The surface, which had been dry, was moist, fluffy, and chunky. I enjoyed it with coffee.

By the way, most bread used for sandwiches is thin and fluffy. Perhaps that is why I had the impression that 2 to 3 minutes in the egg mixture would be enough time. It's quicker than regular French toast. Short time, short time.

I highly recommend it with ham.

To be honest, I don't think there are many occasions when you have extra sandwiches. However, there may come a time when you can use them for a home party or a company get-together. It is the season for more parties.

However, you don't have to wait until there are leftover sandwiches; you can always make your own sandwiches and eat them. In fact, they are so delicious, you should definitely make them! You can use any ingredients you like, but it is better to make it as thin as possible so that it is easier to cook. Also, be careful not to make sandwiches that tend to fall apart (such as a heaping pile of lettuce sandwiches).
